Hello,
Welcome to the Central Volunteer Fire Company's Official Homepage. The Central Volunteer Fire Company is one of six fire stations responsible for providing fire and rescue services to the Township of Elizabeth. We are located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, approximately 25 miles southeast of Downtown Pittsburgh with a current population of over 13,000 residents. Our Township is made up of approximately 22 square miles of commercial, residential, and rural areas. Our Company consists of over 50 trained, dedicated, and hardworking individuals. We answer approximately 300 calls for help annually providing home coverage to the Central area and automatic first due aid to our 5 sister stations: Blaine Hill VFC, Greenock VFC, Elizabeth Twp. VFC #1, Buena Vista VFC, and Victory VFC; mutual aid to the neighboring Boroughs of Elizabeth, Lincoln, Jefferson and Liberty, and The Townships of Rostraver and Forward. We currently operate out of 1 station consisting of a pumper, heavy rescue, tower ladder, special operations all terrain vehicle, squad, and support truck. We are 100% volunteer and are always looking for new members. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my members for all their hard work, the Township of Elizabeth for their continued support, and the residents for their generous donations. Please stop back soon and stay safe!
