Early this afternoon, the rescue box was sent out for the vehicle crash with one trapped on Greenock Buena Vista Rd. at Wexford Dr. in the Greenock section of the Twp. R4 arrived and found 1 passenger car on its roof pinning the female driver. R4 initiated stabilization and made patient contact. R7 arrived and deployed the JAWS and both crews worked on primary access and disentanglement. The drivers side of the vehicle was removed and the female was successfully extricated in about 9 minutes. Female was transported by EMS to a Pittsburgh trauma center with non life-threatening injuries. Crews picked up and were back in service after 1 hour.
UNITS WORKING: R4, R7, R3, 140 Chief, 140 DC 3, EMS 520, ETPD
E2 & E145 staged level II at the YCC for the possible LZ then later released.
