Shortly after 1800 hrs., the 1st alarm box was transmitted for the chimney fire at 169 Lincoln Hall Rd. 140 Asst. 7 marked on the air immediately from the street to the scene. Upon arrival, he found a 1 story SFD, with nothing evident, establishing the command. He was followed by E7, who sent 1 team to the interior and 1 to the roof. Interior found a moderate smoke condition on division 1 and encountered heavy smoke in the sub division. Crew reported charring around the fire place and a possible hidden fire in the wall. A dry line was stretched and E3 laid out from Rock Run and Cresswood. E7 crews were assisted by teams from R4, E3, E2, T4, and E145 while 354 had the RIT assignment. Several checks were made with multiple TIC's and no extension was noted. Crews remained on scene a little over an hour then returned into service.
